RESUMO Todos têm direitos, portadores ou não de necessidades especiais, ao acesso à educação, saúde, trabalho, lazer e demais recursos que lhes são necessários ao pleno desenvolvimento e convívio em sociedade como ser humano. No entanto, ao longo da história, os Surdos foram julgados incapazes de realizarem atividades inerentes a qualquer pessoa julgada como “normal”. Eles foram então excluídos da sociedade e seus direitos, principalmente o de acesso à educação, foram desrespeitados. O objetivo desta pesquisa é conhecer a realidade dos procedimentos metodológicos utilizados para alunos Surdos de uma escola regular de Curitiba. Observar as práticas e estratégias metodológicas, dos professores, no planejamento das aulas para obter um panorama do ensino atual. Conclui-se que as escolas alem de inclusivas e garantir os recursos necessários ao aluno Surdo, é fundamental que tenham professores capacitados e compromissados com a educação de todos.

ABSTRACT Everyone has rights, with or without special needs, access to education, health, work , leisure and other facilities that are necessary for the full development and life in society as a human being. However, throughout history, the Deaf were judged unable to carry out activities related to anyone deemed "normal". They were then excluded from society and their rights, especially access to education have been infringed. The objective of this research is to know the reality of the methodological procedures used for Deaf students in a regular school in Curitiba. Observe the practical and methodological strategies, teachers, and lesson planning to get an overview of current teaching. It is concluded that schools besides inclusive and secure the resources necessary to Deaf students, is vital to have qualified teachers with the education of all.
