O novo já nasce velho: contribuições à antropologia jurídica
Kleiber Gomes Reis* Resumo: Fundamental para a compreensão da diversidade, a Antropologia cada vez mais tem assumido destacado espaço no mundo jurídico. Sendo assim, buscar-se-á demonstrar, neste trabalho, como a Antropologia Jurídica é uma categoria elementar para o saber/pensar o Direito. Trabalhar-se-á de forma sumária algumas questões que envolvem e perfazem o delicado elo de ligação entre o Direito e a Antropologia. Com isso, tentar-se-á instigar a descoberta e compreensão desse ramo jurídico fundamental. Sobretudo hoje, pois a Antropologia não se ocupa mais exclusivamente do “exótico”, “estranho” e “diferente”.

Abstract: Fundamental as it is for an understanding of diversity, Anthropology has steadily assumed a more marked presence in the legal world. This being so, we seek to demonstrate in the current work how Legal Anthropology is a fundamental category for understanding and thinking about the Law. The paper makes a brief examination of a series of questions which both surround and make up the delicate link between the Law and Anthropology. In this way we attempt to instigate both the discovery and understanding of this fundamental branch of the law. This is especially relevant today because Anthropology is no longer exclusively occupied with the “exotic”, the “strange” and the “different”.
