ABSTRACT This article will discuss the process and technology applies at the work in healthcare, observing its immaterial character, and the centrality of “living work” at the production acts, associated with the technologic model that suppose the use of hard, soft-hard and soft technologies. This article adopts the idea that there is a subjective dimension at the production acts of healthcare, potentialized by the confirmation that the work in healthcare will always occur in a meeting mediated by a certain care ethic. Thus the human element is central, it guarantees the productive character of healthcare, this is , the assistencial model does not configures itself by a determination, one estrange element that establishes itself, but by immanent acts of production of its own process, generated by the workers in relationship. The work changes results in a restructuration of the productive process, that, for its part, will be or will not be able to make a rupture with the actual model. RESUMO Este artigo procura discutir o processo e tecnologias de trabalho na saúde, tendo como pressuposto o seu caráter imaterial, e a centralidade do trabalho vivo nos atos produtivos, associado ao modelo tecnológico, que supõe o uso das tecnologias duras, leveduras e leves. Adota a ideia segundo a qual há uma dimensão subjetiva nos atos produtivos do cuidado, potencializada pela constatação de que o trabalho em saúde se dá sempre em um encontro, mediado por certa ética do cuidado.
