Programa 5s um caso de insucesso
RESUMO A competitividade e a crescente necessidade de imprimir melhorias em uma organização faz com ela busque cada vez mais por ferramentas que contribuam para que faça frente às necessidades e as supere. Uma das ferramentas disponíveis é o Programa 5S. Porém, apesar de muito difundida, esta ferramenta ainda pode causar decepções àqueles que a ela se submetem. Tratamos neste artigo da implantação do programa em uma pequena empresa, com administração parcialmente baseada em conceitos adquiridos no âmbito do trabalho e ainda despreparada para a utilização de ferramentas desenvolvidas com o propósito de mudar conceitos. ABSTRACT The competitiveness and the increasing necessity to implant improvements in an organization lead it to search more and more tools to help it faces these challenges. One of the available tools is the Program 5S, that describes an enormous gamma of attitudes to be taken when facing the necessities of improvements in one specific organization. However, although it has been widespread, this tool can still cause disillusionments to those who submit to it without having appropriate skills and knowledge. We discuss in this article the implantation of the program in a small company still unprepared for the use of tools developed with the intention to change concepts and ways of making things, whose administration is partially based in concepts acquired in the scope of the work.
