International Confederation of Lengthening and Limb Reconstruction Societies ICLLRS (The ASAMI Int. And WCEF)
Article 1: Name 1.1- The name of the association shall be “International Confederation of Lengthening and Limb Reconstruction Societies, open brackets, The Association for the Study and Application of the Method of Ilizarov and World Congress of External Fixation, close brackets”, in short ICLLRS (The ASAMI Int. and WCEF), hereinafter referred to as the “ICLLRS”. Article 2: Location 2.1 - The location of the Confederation shall be decided by the Delegates Assembly. Article 3: Purpose 3.1 – ICLLRS will be a non-profit organization. The purpose of ICLLRS shall be to advance the art of limb reconstruction throughout the world, including all procedures developed or in development to reconstruct the bone and surround tissues structure after trauma, congenital or acquired pathology, including its aspects of education, research and training, to provide care for patients in need worldwide and to encourage friendship among limb lengthening and reconstructive surgeons and associations all over the world. Article 4: Objectives Consistent with its purpose, the chief objectives of ICLLRS shall be to: 4.1 – Encourage high standards in bone reconstruction and external fixation techniques throughout the world. 4.2 – Encourage and assist in the formation of national associations, societies and study groups about techniques of bone reconstruction and external fixation techniques. 4.3 – Promote research on bone reconstruction and external fixation techniques. 4.4 – Disseminate scientific information 4.5 – Provide information for international elective opportunities for trainees in bone reconstruction and external fixation techniques. 4.6 – Provide information for international sabbatical and exchange opportunities for practitioners in bone reconstruction and external fixation techniques. 4.7 - Act as a forum for common problems and approaches to solving problems specific to
