Hospital, by means of indicators based on dimensions of the Richard Walton’ model. These dimensions propound wide indicators which better adapt to the Brazilian socioeconomic culture, adapting to the co m mu n i ty’s orga n i z a tion stru cture wh ere situ a tes the target popu l a ti o n . The institution is public, characterized by high complexity spe cialties, with pred o m i n a n ce in su rgical activity, co n s i d ered reference hospital, located in
São Paulo St a te , B ra z i l . The rese a rch made part of the dissertation approved for obtainment of the
Master title in Sciences of the Administration and
Human Values at the Capital Ac a d emic Center, in Novem ber 2002. Expl o rato ry re se a rch, of field, qualitative in the fundamental el a b o ra tion of co n cepts for co n fe ction of the questionnaire, and quantitative regarding mensuration procedures of the closed answers, with statistical treatment through descriptive analysis and distri bu tion of the frequencies of the va ri a bl e s . The re sults were positive regarding integration, social releva n ce, use opportunity and to the development of the capacities and negative regarding the absence recognition by wo rk, a b sence project career, d ef i cient co m mu n i c a tion and inco m pa ti ble remu n era ti o n with the function.
