Othello
The story revolves around four characters: Othello, his wife Desdemona, his lieutenant Cassio, and his sub-officer Iago. He offended by promotion of Cassio, he plot against Othello, convincing the Rodrigo to tell Brabantio that his daughter, the sweet Desdemona had intimate relations with Othello.
Senator imagined that his beloved daughter would marry someone from class, but seeing that would be with the Moor, the Senator was searching for Othello to kill him. After having placed the facts at the meeting for which it was called when Brabantio wanted to see him, they went to Cyprus as innocent.
But Iago also traveled with them and when they arrived there, some weeks after, he tried to persuade all so he could take his rank that he wanted a lot.
He was starting to succeed, however the situation changed because his wife Emília told the whole truth for Othello. Iago was eventually arrested, Othello would have killed his wife, thinking she had betrayed him and also died and Cassius held the rank of Othello.
Otelo, o Mouro de Veneza
Tudo inicia-se com o personagem Iago (antagonista); Alferes, o Otelo (protagonista). Iago, ofendido pela promoção de Cássio, que é mais jovem, trama contra Otelo. Iago convence Rodrigo (cavalheiro veneziano), a ir à casa de Brabâncio (conceituado senador), dizer-lhe que sua filha, a doce Desdêmona fugiu e casou-se com Otelo – o mouro.
O senador ofendido vai à busca do mouro, para matá-lo. Ao procurá-lo recebe um comunicado do doge de Veneza, a comparecer urgente ao senado. Dirigindo-se ao local, onde também estava o bravo comandante Otelo, Brabâncio faz as acusações. Otelo relata o amor pela Desdêmona, dizendo que ela fugiu e se casou com ele por livre e espontânea vontade. Desdêmona veio a confirmar a mesma verdade ali naquele instante.
O mouro é inocentado e segue para o Chipre, no comando das tropas, e sua esposa foi logo depois.
