Abstract:
The adequate use of color while concepting labour spaces, psychological aspects of the use of color, and how color rendering influences human behavior, are the aims of this article.
Architects, engineers, ergonomists, lighting designers all have a need to understand color. To increase mutual understanding among those responsible for creating the environment and making it visible, optics, physiology, psychology and modern color science together make the background for esthetic use of color. To be able to predict the influences of color on impressions and behaviors, some relationships need to be established between the resultant perceptions and the physical characteristics of the colored environment. Electromagnetic radiant energy provides a physical stimulus that enters the eye and causes the sensation of color. The perceived color, the color perceived as belonging to an object is something perceived instantaneously. How is it psychological influences in perception, attitude, mood, and behavior of the occupants of an environment? This study is divided in two sizes, first step, a bibliographic revision on the matter, then a case reading about the use of coloring in health care environments, specifically, the ICU in university hospital João de Barros Barreto-PA
