ABSTRACT: This Article deals with the structured Cartesian thought in Discourse on Method, Meditations and Letters. Shows that the Cartesian rationalist as not sustained in the face of sustained criticism, but further strengthened skepticism and materialism. Descartes to use the existence of an Omnipotent God to mark their thinking, eventually imploding his own philosophy. This article does not intend to disagree with the criticism of Descartes, but faith sees an alternative to the rule of reason. Given the improper abyss modern placed between Faith and Reason this work aims to be a bridge between the two types of knowledge: Rational and Emotional, making it an apologetic tool to those interested in the defense of the Faith To this end, readings and record keeping were made prior books and articles, and speeches analyzing the contents thereof.
