The leadership style of Steve Jobs is one of the most known and commented recently. The co-founder of Apple and Pixar Animation Studios passed away and left new concept of how technology should adapt to the user and their needs.
Jobs had as main characteristics be visionary, innovative, creative and determined. Everything that is expected from a leader. During his career, he was able to motivate all by examples of life and through persuasion, since he was charismatic and always showed how the work must be done.
Therefore, Jobs managed to gather in a single person three conflicting characters: the entrepreneur, who has by nature to live always in the future, seeing opportunities in locations that no one sees them; the Manager, who plans, organizes and puts the problems in order; and the technician, who wants everything with nothing but perfection. During his career, Jobs knew how to make important decisions on necessary moments and the results are clearly visible by all technologies developed by him, which nowadays are more successful than ever.
I believe that the world may observe many leaders, and learn from them what they had to show. Different thesis and theories, opinions, products, and services. But I believe that one of them stood in a different way, influencing people of different cultures, breaking paradigms. Steve jobs had a leadership above normal.
The first one is the ability that he had to dare and to innovate. It earned some failures that often occurred due to the fact that he was even a few decades ahead of his time. Business leaders and innovators in general create products, Steve Jobs created markets. His vision was not limited to simply improve something that already exists, or innovate how we do something, but to propose a new form completely different from doing something or create something simply unimaginable.
