Resumo
Abstract
Sustainable agriculture can be described as a mode of production with several advantages, which is ecologically balanced, economically viable and socially just. Some of their goals include: the quality of life, control of crop yield and safety in production. Production which it is to succeed, practicing the preservation of the environment, provides the sustainability of natural resources and traditional cultures.
In this type of agriculture the desire to form productive systems that maintain the natural resources and provide more healthy products, without compromising the technological levels already achieved food security is priority. The social pressures for an agriculture that does not harm the environment and health are constant, practices seek to combine environmental conservation and food production on a large scale. The nature of agriculture is not really sustainable if there is a maldistribution of power, land, property and health between people, which may lead to the perpetuation of stock distribution and use of deeply unequal. The construction of a model with equal divisions, it is necessary to have uniformity in the system.
