RESUMO
O objetivo deste trabalho foi gerar equações para estimar a área foliar da laranjeira (Citrus sinensis (L.) Osbeck cv. pêra) determinada por meio direto em função do comprimento, ou da largura e/ou do produto comprimento vezes largura da folha. Foram coletadas 20 folhas de 5 plantas, totalizando 100 amostras, sendo mensurados o comprimento (C) e a largura (L) de cada folha. Após, determinou-se a área foliar por meio do produto comprimento × largura (C×L). As mensurações das folhas foram utilizadas para a construção de equações em função de C, da L, e/ou de C×L. A equação obtida através de regressão linear correlacionando os parâmetros comprimento e estimativa de área foliar demonstrou-se adequado para estimar a área foliar da laranja “pêra”.

ABSTRACT
The objective of this study was to generate equations to estimate leaf area of orange (Citrus sinensis (L.) Osbeck cv. Pear) determined by direct means as a function of the length or width and / or the product of length times width of the sheet. 20 leaves were taken from five plants, totaling 100 samples, and measured the length (L) and width (L) of each leaf. After it was determined the leaf area by the product of length × width (W × L). Measurements of the leaves were used for the construction of equations for C of the L and / or C × L The equation obtained by linear regression
