Seringalista. RUBBER TAPPER IN THE AMAZON Abstract: The migration to the Amazon began between the years 1877 and 1879, in spied of entering in the forest inner until mid of the 19th century. It estimates itself that from the first rubber cycle until 1960 about 500.000 Northeastern arrived in the Amazon. It occurred because of the poverty, country conflict, for lack of water, by richness dreaming and by possibility of coming back to their homeland and living with more dignity. However, the reality was very different that. The rubber boss didn’t allow that the tappers digressed their attention of the main aim: the latex extraction. The former took responsibility for feeding, clothes and manufacturing tools and they had to deliver the rubber road in good condition of exploration as weel as they had to support in the building of tapiris and smoking. So, the tapper rest only one day a week and they intend mean their production for their boss.
