Adoption by same-sex couple
The adoption by homosexuals is still controversial reason. Although, here in Brazil don’t exist a legal reason that doesn't mention sexual orientation to individual who want to adopt. So, don’t have a legal reason of that a person is not considered able to adopt due their sexual orientation.
On the other hand, we have a prejudiced society, which sees homosexuals as a disease. The religion, for example, is one of the biggest factors that influencing against this. So, it believes that the child will suffer a psychological trauma or will to follow the example of couple.

However, I believe that the child that grow inside a stable environment, regardless who are their parents, won’t interfere with the child’s character or much less their sexual orientation. And when the family is well settled, I think they should not be contaminated by middle.
People have to understand two steps. First, everyone have the right to be happy and build a family with who loves. Second, the problem starts when we confuse “common” with “right” and “different” with “wrong”. A adoção por homossexuais ainda é motivo de polêmica, porém a legislação pátria não faz menção a orientação sexual do adotando. Assim, não existe qualquer razão legal para que uma pessoa não seja considerada apta a adotar em razão de sua opção sexual.
