O QUINZE: DA PALAVRA À IMAGEM

Resumo: Este texto procura traçar, à luz da tradução intersemiótica, breves considerações acerca da transcriação de textos literários para o cinema. Diante disso, um dos propósitos deste artigo é perceber algumas das convergências das narrativas literárias com as narrativas fílmicas, especialmente, a transformação do signo, da palavra à imagem, cuja finalidade é construir novos significados. O objeto de investigação é o filme O quinze (2007), de Jurandir Oliveira, baseado em obra homônima de Rachel de
Queiroz. A metodologia utilizada neste estudo tem caráter teórico-bibliográfico, e aconteceu em dois momentos: primeiro, a leitura do livro, em seguida, a análise do filme enquanto objeto sígnico de um texto traduzido.

Abstract: This text search to discuss under the perspective of intersemiotic translation, how the brief remarks about the trans literary texts to film. Besides up aganist this, one of the intentions of the present article is to make some remarks about the convergence of literary narratives with filmic narratives, especially, perceiving the way word becomes image, with the purpose of constructing new meaning. The object investigation is the movie O Quinze (2007), by Jurandir Oliveira, based on the homonymous book by Rachel de Queiroz. The methodology we use in this study has a theorical and bibliographic nature, and was developed in two moments: at first, the reading of the book, afterwards, the analysis of the film, as a sign object of a translated text.
