Resumo

Este artigo aborda o rotacismo, fenômeno que é caracterizado pela troca entre / l / e / r /. Mesmo tendo sido um fenômeno que constituiu a formação do português, a variante privilegiada do português considera o rotacismo apenas como desvio da forma padrão. Entretanto, a realização deste fenômeno engloba vários aspectos linguísticos, como por exemplo, fatores linguísticos e fatores extralinguísticos.

Abstract

This article discusses the rhotacism, a phenomenon that is characterized by the exchange between / l / and / r /. Even though it was a phenomenon that was the formation of the Portuguese, the Portuguese prime variant rhotacism only as regards the form of standard deviation. However, the realization of this phenomenon are several aspects of language, such as extralinguistic factors and linguistic factors.
