Abstract ⎯ All f If we admit that the housing issue in Brazil can not be treated as the use of some traditional constructive models proposed to meet the needs of producing constructive and technological options that appear as viable alternatives to the variety of financial, climatic, cultural, demographic, social, etc.. present in the Brazilian context.
The knowledge of the issue of housing production in Brazil does not have answers to a series of unresolved problems, which are important. to formulate a housing policy. So open up the field of housing opportunities for various studies. The knowledge and mastery of these problems and the creation and invention of an architecture and engineering appropriate to the needs and pre-existing conditions appear as a necessary action that is the responsibility of the
University to develop. Thus we propose creating a Center for Housing Research, consisting of teachers and researchers.. Resumo. Ao admitirmos que a questão habitacional brasileira não pode ser tratada a partir do uso de alguns tradicionais modelos construtivos, propõe-se enfrentar as necessidades de produzir opções tecnológicas e construtivas que compareçam como alternativas viáveis para a variedade de condições financeiras, climáticas, culturais, demográficas, sociais, etc. presentes no quadro brasileiro. O conhecimento da questão de produção de habitações no
Brasil não apresenta respostas, a uma série de problemas ainda não resolvidos e que são importantes. para a formulação de uma política habitacional. Assim, abrem-se no campo da habitação diversas possibilidades de estudos.
O conhecimento e o domínio destes problemas e a criação e a invenção de uma arquitetura e engenharia adequadas às necessidades e as condições preexistentes comparecem como uma ação
