Resumo: Este artigo teve como objetivo descrever a avaliar a importância do estágio para a formação acadêmica e desenvolvimento profissional do estagiário e o valor que os órgãos públicos que contratam o estagiário dão ao mesmo. Como o estágio é para a maioria dos estudantes a primeira experiência no mercado de trabalho esta é a fase na qual o estudante poderá vivenciar e assimilar à teoria a prática. Diante disso foi realizada uma pesquisa quantitativa com os estagiários de um Órgão publico Municipal para analisar a visão dos estagiários quanto a importância que eles atribuem ao estágio e, assim verificar se o local de estágio oferece alternativas para o desenvolvimento profissional desses estagiários. Através deste estudo, teve-se a oportunidade de identificar os possíveis problemas de gestão de estagiários e sugerir soluções para elevar a qualidade do mesmo.

Abstract: This paper aims to describe the importance of assessing the stage for academic and professional development of the trainee and the value that the public agencies that hire the intern give the same. As the stage is for most students their first experience in the labor market this is the stage in which students can experience and assimilate the theory to practice. Therefore we conducted a quantitative survey with the trainees of a public Municipal Authority to review the vision of the trainees about the importance they attach to the stage and thus verify that the internship site offers alternatives to the professional development of these trainees. Through this study, there was the opportunity to identify potential problems of management trainees and suggest solutions to improve the quality of it.
