Abstract
For a long time, the Physical Education Class at school was seen as leisure or working out the body time, developing their physical functions, reinforcing a diatomic body and mind conception.
Currently, by legal forces, Physical Education is considered an integrant part of the school’s pedagogical project. Nowadays new discussions in the academic environment are changing the
Scholars Physical Education’s paradigm suppressing ancient conceptions, being the interdisciplinary one of the discussions with bigger repercussions. The interdisciplinary work allows the Physical
Education to have an interaction on the knowledge construction at the school, making use of inherent subjects to the formation and articulating it with the other curricular disciplines. This article proposes to put Physical Education as partner of an interdisciplinary team continuously searching the investigation, research and discovery of new knowledge to allow a better formation to the student, using Exercise’s Physiology example, that is integrant part of Physical’s Education studies and presents several subjects that may be worked in an articulated way with the other disciplines of the scholar curriculum. Initially we will comment about the education through the PCN (National Curricular
Parameters), and after will do some reflections about the interdisciplinary concept and will approach the Scholar Physical
Education through PCN’s proposal. At the end we will present interdisciplinary suggestions articulating physiology exercise’s contents with other disciplines.
