Dr Kochi noted that the increasing production and demand for bacterial larvicides, especially Bacillus thuringiensis israelensis (Bti), would require internationally agreed guideline specifications and test methods which would assure the production of efficient and safe larvicide products, protecting both consumers and manufacturer.
