A B S T R A C T
The Brazilian people are characterized by miscegenation, or the mixing between ethnic groups. The ethnic diversity of the Brazilian population is the result of 500 years of history, what happened in the mixture of basically three groups, they are: the Indians (Native Peoples), whites (mainly Portuguese) and blacks (slaves).
From the mixture of the races mentioned, formed a people composed of whites, blacks, Indians, Mulattoes, mulattoes, and caboclos cafuzos. Thus, these groups are identified in the population of the country.
The adoption of inclusive policies attempt to ease the situation under exclusionary social and economic relationship with the black and mestizo population, the latter being the fastest growing for inclusion, such as quotas university.
