USO DA ENERGIA EÓLICA COMO ALTERNATIVA PARA MITIGAR O AGRAVAMENTO DO EFEITO ESTUFA

Resumo: Em uma época em que se discute amplamente a questão ambiental, a geração de energia elétrica torna-se uma grande vilã quando o assunto é emissão de gases de efeito estufa e degradação ambiental. Dentre as soluções, intensifica-se em diversas partes do mundo, inclusive no Brasil, a utilização das fontes renováveis de energia. Entre elas, destaca-se a energia produzida a partir dos ventos (eólica) demonstrando competitividade com os sistemas convencionais. Através de amplas pesquisas bibliográficas em diversos documentos especializados neste tema, esse artigo visa analisar o uso da energia eólica e sua introdução na matriz energética nacional. Ao final, constata-se que este tipo de energia está em grande ascendência, e que é de muita valia para reduzir as emissões de gases do efeito estufa e incrementar a matriz energética nacional aumentando sua eficiência.

Abstract: In a time where environmental issues are widely discussed, electric energy generation becomes a huge villain when the matter is emission of greenhouse gases and environmental degradation. Amongst the solutions, the utilization of renewable energy sources is intensified in several parts of the world, Brazil included. Amidst them, the energy produced from the winds (eolic) is intensified demonstrating being competitive against conventional systems. Through largely bibliographic researches in several specialized documents on the subject, this paper aims to analyze the usage of eolic energy and its introduction on the national energetic matrix. In the end, it’s noted that this kind of energy is in great growth, and has a great value to reduce the emission of greenhouse gases and to increment the national energetic matrix increasing its efficiency.
