SILICOSE DOENÇA PULMONAR OCUPACIONAL NO TRABALHADOR DE MINERAÇÃO

RESUMO: A silicose constitui um grande problema de saúde pública, no Brasil é a

mais antiga e grave doença profissional. É de origem ocupacional sendo provocada por inúmeras substâncias e produtos no local de trabalho, saber determinar o grau de risco e os equipamentos de proteção é muito importante. A silicose livre é resultante do quatzo dentre as patologias pulmonares destacam-se ainda as pneumoconiose e asbestose. A silicose está relacionada com inalação de pequenas partículas e a permanência destas micro partículas no pulmão acabam determinando a doença. As micro partículas atingem o interior do pulmão provocando uma reação inflamatória, a repetição desta inflamação ocasiona a perda de elasticidade pulmonar, na qual acaba formando nódulos pulmonares. A anamnese e os exames clínicos são importantes para diagnosticar esta doença, embora não se tenha cura para a silicose, a prevenção ainda é a melhor forma de evitar esta doença.
