Resumo: O presente trabalho busca compreender o fenômeno da violência enquanto cultural entre "torcidas organizadas", a partir das justificativas de explicação dos atos de violências utilizadas pelas conjunturas políticas, sociais, econômicas, pela vivência dos torcedores, e teorias históricos culturais. Mostra, em síntese, que a violência produzida pelos grupos de torcedores é parte da dimensão cotidiana dos grandes centros urbanos na sociedade brasileira contemporânea, conseqüência do esvaziamento político cultural-coletivo dos novos sujeitos sociais, e da inversão de valores a esta instituição.

Abstract: This paper seeks to understand the cultural phenomenon of violence as between "cheerleaders" from the explanation of the justification for acts of violence used by political events, social, economic, living by the fans, cultural and historical theories. Shows, in summary, that the violence produced by groups of fans is part of the everyday dimension of urban centers in contemporary Brazilian society, due to the cultural-political collective emptying of new social subjects, and the reversal of values to this institution.
