Impressoras
The first printer in history was developed in 1938 by Chester Carlson, an American who invented the process of reproducing images and texts by means of photocopying machines. In 1953 was created the first high-speed printer. The same was used in Univac commercial computer manufactured and marketed in the United States. In fact, the first printers had a system that gave the impression of characters through impact, a reality that resulted in poor print quality. The printers have evolved as the advance of computer itself. Just as computers have emerged for different uses, printers were also being created for specific purposes. Modern laser printers emerged in 1983 through a partnership between the companies Hewlett Packard and Canon. These devices use a modulated laser beam for printing, which provides a print quality significantly higher.
