ABSTRACT
Objective: Describe and analyse the nursing performance in health assistance and HPV prevention in man.
Methods: exploratory and descriptive, qualitative, by bibliographic review in BVS was used in research (SciELO,
LILACS, BDENF) and also Brazilian Journal of Oncology (INCA). Seven potential articles were selected, after reads and analysis, 3 categories emerged: Man’s Health Assistance, Preventive Education in Male Sexual Health and
Professional Formation and Man’s Health Assistance. Results: Nursing performance in health assistance and HPV prevention in man is deficient in many ways; basically it has been directed to clinical treatment, nevertheless the nursing can and must play the part of educator, specially concentrating attention prevention. Conclusion: the nursing performance has been troubled by absence of specific services in man’s health, low demand for medical assistance, and others. The nursing professional must act in health education of these men and their families, in all ages and social groups, stimulating the routine in health assistance. Objetivo: Descrever e analisar a atuação da enfermagem na assistência à saúde e na prevenção do HPV no homem. Métodos: exploratória e descritiva, abordagem qualitativa, realizada através de revisão bibliográfica na
BVS (SciELO, LILACS, BDENF) e na Revista Brasileira de Cancerologia (INCA). Foram selecionadas sete bibliografias potenciais, após leituras e análise emergiram três categorias: Assistência à Saúde do Homem; Prevenção do HPV
