RESUMO
O presente trabalho é uma exposição de dados e reflexões a partir do trabalho de campo realizado pelo Serviço Social no período de abril/2005 a abril/2006 na Vara da Infância e
Juventude na Comarca de Macaíba/RN. O texto suscita a relevância da atividade do Estudo
Social na área jurídica, a troca de saberes existente; bem como esboça a dinamicidade da realidade social investigada. O trabalho destaca, ainda, os procedimentos técnicos e metodológicos que propiciem a elaboração do Estudo com fulcro nos princípios da democracia e equidade social.

ABSTRACT

The present work is an exposition of information and reflections from the field work carried through for the Social Work in the period of April/2005 April/2006 in the Pole of Infancy and
Youth in the Judicial district of Macaíba/RN. The text excites the relevance of the activity of the Social Study in the juridica area, the exchange to know existing; as well as it sketches the dynamicity of the investigated social reality. The work detaches, still, the technician and methodological procedures that propitiate the elaboration of the Study with fulcrum in the principles of the democracy and social equity.
