Rock and Pop: What is the difference?

VOCABULARY: List of verbs;
GRAMMAR TOPICS: Simple Past Tense: Affirmative Form, Negative Form and Interrogative Form;
SKILLS: Listening, reading, writing and speaking.
• Activities:

➢ Bingo;
➢ Technique omission of words;
➢ Memory Game;
➢ Written exercises;
➢ Texts;
➢ Word search.
• Justification:
I chose the music subject, because students love listening to and seeing the translation. So I decided to put the grammar that students do not like with the music they love. Therefore they learn a new language in a creative and interesting way.
Through music the students will practice listening and reading. So the students will get interested in learning English because they will know new vocabularies and expressions. They can translate the songs and understand what their favorite singers are singing.
• General Objective:
To know Rock and Pop music and through these two genres to learn new words and expressions in English.
• Specific Objectives:
➢ To identify countries that speak the English Language;
➢ To practice listening, reading, writing and speaking skills through different activities;
➢ To pronounce verbs and words correctly;
➢ To reorganize and use the Simple Past Tense Affirmative Form, Negative Form and Interrogative Form in sentences.
