RESUMO EM PORTUGUÊSO objetivo deste trabalho é explicar de forma didática e simples, com apresentação de figuras e textos, quais são os defeitos e alguns instrumentos ópticos. Primeiramente iremos mostrar o olho humano e suas partes, mostrando sua estrutura interna e seu funcionamento. Em seguida apresentaremos os principais defeitos que atingem a visão humana, sendo eles cinco (5): hipometropia, hipermetropia, astigmatismo, presbeopia e estrabismo, juntamente com as suas causas, sintomas e tratamentos. Também mostraremos um distúrbio óptico, o daltonismo. Apresentaremos os instrumentos ópticos mais utlizados: o microscópio simples ou composto, a luneta, o telescópio, a máquina fotográfica, assim como seus respectivos funcionamentos e inventores.

The objective of this work is to explain, didactically and simple, with presentation of figures and texts, which are defects and some optical instruments. Primarily we will show the human eye and its parts, showing its internal structure and its functioning. Then we present the main defects that affect human vision, they being five (5): nearsightedness, hyperopia, astigmatism, strabismus and prebyopia, along with their causes, symptoms and treatments. Also we will show a disturbance optical color blindness. We will present the most widely used optical instruments: simple or compound microscope, the lunette, the telescope, the camera, as well as their runs and inventors.
