Determinação de ferro (II) em matriz salina.
ABSTRACT The flow of iron’s production original of the district's industrial of Maranhão’s capital and counties, by Bay of São Marcos, may turn the beaches and the port areas of São Luis into areas contaminated by this metal. With the objective of testing the application of the system Fe (II)/ KSCN for determination of iron (II) in sea’s water through UV-Vis Spectrometry (at 510 nm), was collected and analyzed water’s samples of 20 stations at the Calhau Beach, São Luis-MA. For the validation and comparison between methods, was used Spectrometry of Atomic Emission with Plasma of Argon Coupled Inductively - ICP-OES (at 259.94 nm). Were used in this research: spectrometers UV-VIS BIOSPECTRO mod. SP220 PC and ICP-OES mod. MODULA/ EOP, 50 to 1000 (L micropipettes, test tubes, 1cm optical path-length quartz cubette. In the opportunity, the agreement of the levels of the metal was verified with the concentrations fastened in the Resolution CONAMA n°357/05. The results obtained in ICP-OES and for the system Fe (II)/KSCN through UV-Vis
