Imrir Lichtenfeld (Sdeor), was born on May 26, 1910 in Budapest

His father, Samuel, was The Boss of the secret service and local self-defense instructor and immobilization techniques secret police.Imi accompanied his father, suggesting movements and techniques when used by police officers worked to great effect.

In 1940 Imi For being a Jew ran away from his homeland due to Nazi threat.

he embarked on a ferry called "Pentcho".The Ferry became so famous that there is a book about it called “The Odyssey” from John Birman

Due the odyssey Imi suffered damage to his healthcare and got facial paralysis and strong inflamation in the ear.

Join the britsh army

After 2 years of Odyssey and After an explosion at the gas tank of the ship, which happened near the coast of the Greek Islands, his help was requested. After four days and nights of great effort, Imi was taken in a terrible health condition to Alexandria, where he underwent many surgeries.

When Imi recovered he join the british army and fought in conflicts like Libya,Syria, Lebanon and Egypt. In the year of 1942, he then retired from the army and received a license to live in Israel

Finally,The Arrival

Before his death,Imi trained 13 people selected to become masters of krav maga and spreading throughout the world their techniques and philosophies.

The youngest and most brillant student,Kobi lichtenstein decides to teach krav magá in south america,In 1990, arrived in Rio de Janeiro, authorized by the Israeli government and with the blessing of Imi to fulfill its mission and personal desire to Imi: disclose, teach and train instructors in South America Lichtenstein founded the Brazilian Association of Krav Maga recognized by the Department of Sports and Ministry of Education.
