Bullying é um fenômeno escolar que, por definição universal, caracteriza-se por um conjunto de atitudes agressivas, intencionais e repetitivas que ocorrem sem motivação evidente, adotado por um ou mais alunos contra outro(s), causando dor, angústia e sofrimento. O presente artigo teve por objetivo suscitar informações sobre as práticas do bullying nas escolas e suas consequências no processo educacional das vitimas. Para tanto, foi realizada uma pesquisa de revisão bibliográfica sistemática, através das bases de dados SCIELO (Scientific Eletronic Library Online) e LILACS (Literatura Latino-Americana e do Caribe em Ciências da Saúde), a partir do cruzamento das palavras-chave: bullying e escola. As pesquisas indicam que o fenômeno do bullying pode influenciar de forma negativa o aprendizado dos alunos que sofrem esse tipo de abuso em sala de aula.
