A PRÁTICA DA MUSICOTERAPIA EM DIFERENTES ÁREAS DE ATUAÇÃO

RESUMO: Este estudo reflete sobre a práxis da musicoterapia quando esta se insere em diferentes campos de trabalho, aqui denominados áreas de atuação. O tema foi estudado no contexto das áreas oferecidas para o estágio curricular do curso de Musicoterapia da Faculdade de Artes do Paraná. A discussão está fundamentada em aportes teóricos advindos do campo da psicologia, da música, da musicoterapia e em dados empíricos construídos por meio de informações obtidas em diferentes instituições concedentes de estágio supervisionado de musicoterapia, na cidade de Curitiba. Sem a pretensão de indicar definições, procurou-se ampliar o conceito de área para além de um lugar. Buscou-se pelo entendimento desse espaço como um ambiente social, político, cultural, humano e relacional no qual o musicoterapeuta desenvolve seu trabalho.

THE PRACTICE OF MUSIC THERAPY IN DIFFERENT ACTION FIELDS

ABSTRACT: This study is a reflection upon the practice of Music Therapy when inserted in different job areas, which we have called action fields. The topic was analyzed within the context of the areas available for the practicum in the Music Therapy course at the College of Arts of Paraná, Brazil
[Faculdade de Artes do Paraná]. The arguments draw on theoretical approaches from the fields of psychology, Music, Music Therapy, and on data obtained in surveys conducted in different institutions that host practicum activities in the city of Curitiba. With no intention of pointing to definitions we try to broaden the concept of the field outside its boundaries. We have considered this space as a social, political, cultural, human and relational environment where the music therapist develops his or her work.
