RESUMO

Este trabalho traz o conhecimento e a necessidade de o assistente social compreender as lutas das classes diferentes para que, assim, entenda o surgimento do sindicalismo, a sua influência sobre a classe trabalhadora e os movimentos de classe. Através de lutas, a classe trabalhadora conquistou direitos trabalhistas e políticos que tiveram seu auge entre as décadas de 1960 a 1980. Nesse período, houve um crescimento do processo de industrialização no país, a implantação do ajuste neoliberal no final de 1980 e início 1990, houve a piora do trabalho e o enfraquecimento do sindicalismo. O sindicato passou a encontrar dificuldades pelo ajuste neoliberal, pois os partidos que influenciavam os sindicatos passaram a ceder ao ajuste. Com isso, os sindicatos foram perdendo a capacidade de arregimentar e conscientizar os trabalhadores de suas respectivas categorias. Mesmo assim continua sendo um transmissor entre classes, apesar das mudanças ocorridas. Palavras-chave: Sindicalismo. Classes Antagônicas. Neoliberalismo.

ABSTRACT

This work brings the knowledge and the need for the social worker to understand the struggles of antagonistic classes so therefore understand the rise of trade unionism , its influence on the working class and class movements . Through struggle , the working class won labor rights and political peaked between the decades 1960-1980 . During this period , there was a rapid process of industrialization in the country . With the implementation of neoliberal adjustment in the late 1980s and early 1990s, there was a worsening of labor and , consequently , the weakening of trade unionism . The union began encountering difficulties by neoliberal adjustment , because the parties that influenced unions have to give in to fit.
