LINPAC Plastics – Featherstone QUALITY POLICY MANUAL 1.2 QUALITY POLICY STATEMENT As the Chief Executive on this, I, the General Manager, am intent on providing the right people, organisation and resources to ensure the manufacture of plastics packaging products of acceptable and consistent quality. I recognise that to do so will benefit not only the users of our products but also ourselves, through reduced wastage and costs. The system and quality assurance procedures described in this Quality Policy Manual, the related Quality Procedures Manual and Standard Operating Procedures Manuals are mandatory for the Company and shall be strictly observed by all employees. Everybody in the organisation has a responsibility for quality in some way. The ultimate responsibility for the policies stated in this Manual along with the implementation and maintenance of the quality procedures shall rest with me. It is the Company’s aim to attain a level of product quality which meets or exceeds the requirements of the end user in the most competitive manner. This is monitored periodically through a number of measures such as customer complaints and non-conformances and reviewed at Management review to ensure this aim is being met. In order to achieve this aim the Company has implemented and will maintain a Quality Management System based upon the requirements of BS EN ISO 9002: 1994. Additionally the Company has introduced, and will continue to introduce when appropriate initiatives to achieve continuous improvements of the business as part of it’s strive to achieve a world class
