RESUMO:
O objetivo deste artigo é discutir o trabalho como princípio fundante da organização curricular integrada. Um projeto unitár io de ensino médio sob os princípios do trabalho, da ciência, da tecnologia e da cultura de ve estar fundado na educação tecnológica.
Ela deve ser a expressão de uma educação que retome os princípios da escola unitária, como foi pensada por Gramsci, como da educação poli técnica que combina os elementos – trabalho, ciência, tecnologia e cultura– na prática e nos fundamentos científico-tecnológicos e histórico-cultural.

ABSTRACT:
The aim of the present paper is to argue the work as founding principle of the integrated curriculum organization. A unitary p roject of average education under the principles of the work, science, technology and cul ture must be established in the technological education. It must be the expression of an education that retakes the principles of the unitary school, as it was thought by Gramsci, as in the polytechnical education that combine the elements –work, science, technology and culture– in the practical one and in the scientific and historic-cu ltural beddings.
