RESUMO:
Este artigo discute as relações de poder presentes no campo familiar, psicossocial e jurídico. O caso de Bernardo ilustra o poder que existe nessas relações e nas inter- relações dos diferentes campos sociais, quando houve alienação parental em que o pai vedava o convívio do filho com a avó materna. Embora o papel do psicólogo seja relevante e imprescindível para o processo, constata-se que o estudo psicossocial não tem caráter resolutivo, mas sim avaliativo, cabendo ao Poder Judiciário a função de solucionar o litígio.

ABSTRACT:
This article discusses the power relations present in the family, psychosocial and legal field. The case of Bernardo illustrates the power that exists in these relationships and interrelationships of different social fields, where there was parental alienation in which the father forbade his son from living with her maternal grandmother. Although the psychologist's role is relevant and essential for the process, it appears that the psychosocial study has not resolute character, but evaluative falling to the judiciary the task of resolving the dispute.
