Abstract – This article aims to present some aspects of philosophy that graze the theme of distance education. The considerations presented in the following lines have as guiding principles aspects of Contemporary Philosophy, Philosophy Clinic and the notion of pedagogical mediation towards the construction of knowledge. In terms of contemporary philosophy, the innovative approach of the front of the philosophical knowledge opens new possibilities for philosophical thinking. While the philosophy Clinic exploits this knowledge toward the ancient therapy of psycho-existential subjectivity and in the process of pedagogical mediation, the content domain is not sufficient cause and necessary for construction of a horizontal knowledge between mediator and mediated.
