INTRODUCTION
Today, as a matter of lack of time and change the routine, the population does not create habits of regular exercise. People have become listless and resign themselves to what is easier. Studies have shown us that physical inactivity is a major factor in the cause of death worldwide. The physical activity becomes increasingly important in physical and psychological development of the person, as well as in creating a healthy lifestyle at any age and condition.
BODY
Physical exercise is any activity aimed at maintaining or improving the physical condition, providing harmonious movements of the body. These movements are essential for the proper development of the person, because it promotes a therapeutic effect both in terms of self esteem, or in the act of socialization. The practice of regular or frequent exercise, not only strengthens the muscles and the cardiovascular system.
Some argue that this practice stimulates the immune system, prevent disease, moderate cholesterol and help prevent obesity and improve mental health. Exercise is essential for good development, as well as disease prevention and quality of life, so must be encouraged from an early age, if possible should be integrated in the daily activities of the child as well as integrate other activities. As already mentioned there are several reasons why we should practice regular physical exercise, here are the main: ▪ Potentiates the stress relief ▪ Helps control weight ▪ Improves cardiovascular and respiratory function ▪ Reduces the risk factors for coronary artery disease ▪ Decreases body fat ▪ Maintains or increases muscle mass
