A concepção de Estado e de poder político em Maquiavel

RESUMO: O presente artigo tem como objetivo apresentar uma síntese do pensamento político maquiaveliano. Pretende-se demonstrar e elucidar sua teoria política e sua concepção de Estado. O enfoque teórico que dá sustentação ao trabalho baseia-se na principal obra do autor, O Príncipe, além de leituras complementares de comentadores de suas obras no que tem de específico sobre o referido assunto. A análise que, em geral, se faz da teoria política de Maquiavel, é apressada e errônea por acusar o autor de ser defensor de um regime de governo despótico. Na verdade, o que ensina Maquiavel, é que um governo é sempre determinado pela realidade dos fatos. A ação política do príncipe deve basear-se na imposição dessa verdade. PALAVRAS CHAVE: Maquiavel, Estado, Poder Político. ABSTRACT: The present article has as objective to present a synthesis of the thought maquiaveliano politician. It is intended to show and to elucidate its theory politics and its conception of State. The theoretical approach that gives sustentation to the work is based on the main workmanship the author, the Prince, beyond complementary readings of commentators its workmanships in what it has of specific on the related subject. The analysis, in general, if makes of theory politics of Maquiavel, is hasty and erroneous to accused the author to be defender of a regimen of absolute in power government. In the truth, what Maquiavel teaches, it is that a government always is determined by the reality of the facts. The action politics of the prince must be based on the imposition of this truth.
