WHAT IS VOLVO OCEAN RACE
Developed every three years, the Volvo Ocean Race (VOR) has become one of the most demanding sporting events collectives. Courageous sailors use the most powerful and efficient technology to the forefront nautical crossing the five continents of the globe, surpassing boundaries and challenging the power of the waters. The interaction of man with nature and respect for her are the main fuels of this arduous and exciting race.
The competition is a mixture of competitive sport and adventure to the extreme, a union of onshore glamor with drama and endurance at sea. Competitors will experience temperature variations from -5 to +40 degrees Celsius and can only bring a change of clothes.
