Theoretical
1 : Present Perfect Simple :
Interested in the action, it doesn’t matter whether something has been finished or not I have done my exercise
2 : Past Simple :
To talk about actions or situations in the past, in a definite time I did three hours ago
3 : Past Continuous :
Used to say that someone was in the middle of doing something at a certain time, the action or situation had already started before this time but hadn’t finished or an action progressing at a certain time in the past; an action taking place a time of another action in the past I was doing / I was doing that when . . . (another action)
4: Present Perfect Continuous :
Interested in the result of the action, the important thing is that something has been finished I have been doing since ysterday
5 : Present Simple :
Talk about things in general or things which happen repeatedly
(permanent situation) ; to make suggestions. I do/ It does my exercises regularly
6 : Present Continuous :
Talk about something which is happening at or around the time of speaking,but not necessarily exactly at the time of speaking; action expected to finish in the near future (temporary situation). Talk about a period around the present, changing situations, timetables, programmes, about what you have already arranged to do I am doing my exercises
7 : Future Simple :
Action or situation that will occur in the future I will do my exercise
8: Future meaning :
Already decided to do, what we intend to do in the future I’m going to do my exercise this night
9: Future Continuous
