ABSTRACT
This paper presents an analyze of the way the Soviet party used posters to spread the Socialist ideology with the aim of finding out why it was so important to use posters and how the propaganda helped the party to reach its goals. For that, bibliographical research was used. Altogether posters were analyzed to show their function during the Soviet revolution.

INTRODUCTION
The political propaganda was one of the most dominant phenomena of the first half of the century XX and it is examined like an organized enterprise to influence the public organization and to direct it. According to studies it can influence the emotions, attitudes and mainly the opinions of the whole society. This is one of the ways of getting the adhesion of the mass and it can also inspire them to have a brand new and more optimist attitude when they must face revolutionary conflicts. Clearly others will be able to create definitions for political propaganda, but to discuss the relevant aspects of this problem, we have to forget about finding a precise definition and, instead of that, we will consider just a possible definition regarding the object of study, the poster: propaganda is nothing more than the attempt of transmitting political and social values in order to affect people's feelings and thoughts. There are many examples of the political propaganda using, mainly in political important events occurred during the first half of the century XX as the ascent of Hitler and the victorious campaign of the Lenin ruling party during the consolidation of the Soviet socialism, which without the using of the propaganda they
