Resumo na língua do texto
The Renaissance was a cultural renewal that dominated Europe between 1300 and 1650. The name "Renaissance" was due to the appreciation of classical culture, which led to change in this period toward a humanistic ideal (valuing human life as opposed to divine).
Among the artist of that era stood out Leonardo da Vinci was the most versatile talent of the Italian Renaissance. In 1471 only 20 years old, he joined the nucleus of painters in Florence.
Da Vinci produced around 15 paintings, among which stands out Monalisa (Gioconda), the most famous of his works. At just 77cm high and 53 cm wide, Monalisa (fig. 1) is the work most visited museum in the Louvre in Paris (fig. 2). What intrigues the observer is that, although traces of the figure are crisp, the feelings on your face are very inaccurate.
The theme "Monalisa / Rebirth" was given by admiration for the work, being a figure so old and yet so famous.
