PODER, POLÍTICA E RESPONSABILIDADE SOCIAL DESGASTADAS PELO CAPITALISMO: ABORDAGEM À REVOLUÇÃO DOS BICHOS DE ORWELL1

Resumo: Este trabalho visa delimitar um âmbito na gestão empresarial com o objetivo de examinar e refletir sobre as mudanças na responsabilidade social através do poder e da política controladas pelo capitalismo nas organizações, relacionando com a fábula do escritor inglês Eric Arthur Blair (George Orwell) – a revolução dos bichos – que era contra o regime totalitarista. O artigo ratifica os objetivos do autor apensos em seu livro, e que narra uma história de corrupção e traição recorrendo a figuras de animais para retratar as fraquezas humanas comuns nas organizações atuais, globalizadas, que focalizam a reestruturação, a maximização de seus lucros e a especialização flexível em detrimento da perda de identidade do trabalhador e da gestão social responsável e ética.

Abstract: This work aims at defining a framework in business management with the objective to examine and reflect on the changes in social responsibility through the power and politics controlled by capitalism in organizations relating to the fable of the English author Eric Arthur Blair (George Orwell) - the revolution of the animals - it was against the totalitarian regime. The book tells a tale of corruption and betrayal using pictures of animals to portray human weaknesses common in organizations today, globalized, that focus on restructuring, maximizing profits and flexible specialization at the expense of loss of identity of the worker and management social responsibility and ethics.
