Resumo
Este artigo apresenta a estrutura da ONU, algumas críticas à Carta de São Francisco, bem como algumas controvérsias do histórico da ONU, suas estruturas, finalidades e objetivos. Faz rápidas referências ao Conselho de Segurança, Assembleia Geral, Corte Internacional de Justiça, Conselho de Tutela, Conselho Econômico e Social, Secretariado e Conselho de Direitos Humanos. Apresenta também alguns conceitos e distinções nominais e ideológicas referentes à área dos direitos humanos. Por fim, busca compreender a atuação da OTAN desde o fim da Guerra Fria, a atual posição da OTAN no cenário mundial. Busca averiguar se a OTAN só age apenas em questões bélicas ou se atua também na área social.

Abstract
This paper presents the structure of the UN, some criticisms of the San Francisco Charter, as well as some controversial history of the UN, its structures, purposes and goals. Make quick references to the Security Council, General Assembly, the International Court of Justice, the Trusteeship Council, Economic and Social Council, the Secretariat and the Human Rights Council. It also presents some concepts and nominal distinctions and ideological regarding human rights. Finally, it seeks to understand the role of NATO since the end of the Cold War, NATO's current position on the world stage. Search only investigate if NATO acts only on issues of war or acts also in social area.
