Metallica biography presentation

Metallica was formed in Los Angeles, California, in 1981 when the drummer Lars Ulrich placed an advertisement in a Los Angeles newspaper, The Recycler. James Hetfield have answered and so, Ulrich recruited Hetfield to sing and play rhythm guitar. Dave Mustaine was invited to play the lead guitar, but thanks to his mad behavior and alcohol dependence, he was kicked out from Metallica after few months and in the same evening Kirk Hammett was invited to take Dave’s place. Cliff Burton signed too as bass player, but unfortunately, the Metallica’s van crashed up and Cliff Burton died. Jason Newsted was invite months later to occupy Cliff’s place. Many people say that Metallica were the Kings of Metal of the 80’s creating the truly heavy metal with a full bass power, aggressive riffs and solos. With the release of 8 studio albums the band has won 8 Grammy Awards.
