Este artigo trata da importância da Gestão do magistrado. O judiciário carece de transformar sua visão, afastando-se daquela atuação mitigada do juiz, limitada ao julgamento de processos, o que resulta, simplesmente, no abarrotamento processual, evidenciado pela morosidade, principalmente. A pesquisa aponta a necessidade de mudança na conduta do magistrado, que deverá se conscientizar do papel que exerce na justiça brasileira, para não se acomodar com a situação do judiciário, em razão da escassez de material, estrutural ou de pessoal. A gestão do magistrado é fator crucial que pode contribuir para efetivar a prestação jurisdicional, isto é, o gerenciamento do magistrado na sua unidade judicial, pautado no planejamento estratégico nacional, influencia sobremaneira para concretizar uma justiça célere, acessível e eficiente.

ABASTRACT
This article addresses the importance of management of the magistrate. The judiciary needs to transform its vision, away from work that mitigated the judge limited the trial process, which results simply in procedural overcrowding, as evidenced by tardiness, especially. The study suggests the need for change in the conduct of the magistrate, who should be aware of the role it plays in the Brazilian courts, not to accommodate the situation of the judiciary, because of the shortage of material, structural or personnel.
