Resumo: Bataille é autor de uma filosofia “agressivamente anti-idealista”, envolvida com o trabalho de deslocamento das noções. Na convicção de que a transgressão está ao alcance de uma selvageria da forma, sob fundo de cosmogonia paródica, o pensamento batailliano atua em favor do que de fato deveria desvelar a existência humana: o gasto sem compensação, a prodigalidade sem medida. Este estudo percorrerá alguns textos iniciais de Bataille, nos quais uma análise iconográfica inusual localiza aquela selvageria e este gasto pródigo em formas agressivamente anti-clássicas da Antiguidade tardia.

Abstract: Bataille is an author of an “aggressively anti-idealistic” philosophy involved with the work of notion displacement. With the conviction that the transgression is within reach of the savagery of the form, with a backdrop of parodic cosmogony, the Bataillian thought acts in favour of the fact that should unveil the human existance: spending with no compensation, the limitless prodigality. This study deals with some initial texts by Bataille, where an uncommon iconographic analysis locates the aforementioned savagery and prodigality in aggressively anti-classic forms of Late Antiquity.
