Introduction
The main purpose of this paper is to make an analysis on the issue that if there is an effect of digitalisation in an archive on the number of individual visitors. The paper also makes an analysis about the importance of visual/physical contact between the individual and the material in the archive. The number of individual visitors to an archive get affected by the fully digitalization of the material. The importance of digitization is growing day by day. With the passage of time, digitization is playing a crucial role in the archives. There is a great role of visual contact between the individual and the archive material. Through the visual contacts, the individuals can actually get an idea about the material in the archives. The paper gives an overview about these two key points.

Digitisation has become very much important in the archives. Digital cultural heritage includes informational resources on the culture created by the digitization of information resources and traditional analog media, and materials once created in digital form.
